SHERIDAN — The Central Wyoming Council of the Boy Scouts of America has awarded Kendal Walters of Ranchester the rank of Eagle Scout.
Walters received the award at a Court of Honor held on Dec. 28, 2013, in Lewistown, Penn.
Eagle Scout is the highest award earned by the young men of the Boy Scouts. Walters’ Eagle Scout project was done at Wondra Park in Ranchester and involved planning, fundraising, building and installing a picnic table area for park users. Walters is a senior at Tongue River High School where he plays football, track, baseball and partakes in the academic challenge.
Walters is the son of Keith and Karen Walters of Ranchester.
