SHERIDAN — Sheridan playwright Chris Browne’s play “Heart in Hand” will be performed at the WYO Theater on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. and Feb. 2 at 2 p.m.
Browne’s play centers around a young medical practitioner whose fascination with healing turns into an obsession when he meets Sarah. Sarah is a young addict who needs more healing than simply medical. Josh is determined to save Sarah and heads down a dangerous road that threatens to destroy everything for which he has worked so hard. Meanwhile, violent ghosts from Sarah’s past work to deny her the salvation for which she searches.
The production is a fundraiser for the Sheridan Health Center (formerly Free Clinic of Sheridan).
The center provides primary medical care to uninsured Sheridan County adults who meet the income guidelines.
