I-90 between Sheridan, Buffalo REOPENS

SHERIDAN — The section if Interstate 90 between Sheridan and Buffalo is open again after a short closure this morning due to slick roads.

Wyoming Department of Transportation Public Relations Specialist Ronda Holwell said in a press release there were multiple truck slide-offs and jack knifes in the Piney Creek area.

Crews worked to clear the roadway, which was reopened just before 9:30 a.m

Editor’s note: This story was updated at 9:30 a.m. to reflect the road had been opened after a closure that began at approximately 8 a.m.
