WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — Artists and musicians are invited to donate their talent to the Wyoming Wilderness Association’s eighth annual “Miniature Art and Music Auction: Celebrating our Wild Earth.”
The show will be exhibited and juried and pieces will be auctioned off April 14-25 at the Davis Gallery.
The event coincides with the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, which will be held April 22 at the WYO Theater.
All proceeds benefit the WWA and their effort to protect special places in Wyoming.
A grand finale gala will be held April 25 from 5-7 p.m. at the gallery with music, food, beverages and to submit final bids to purchase.
Contributions of art must be no larger than 6 inches by 8 inches and music must be no longer than 90 minute concerts.
Finished and framed art pieces should be brought to the gallery, located at 645 Broadway St., no later than April 11.
Prizes will be awarded in four categories of artwork and all musicians will be recognized. Details and donation forms can be found online at www.wildwyo.com. For more information call Martha Tate at 672-2751.
