SC to hold astronomy workshop

SHERIDAN — Sheridan College will offer a two-part astronomy workshop on Friday and Saturday at the college and in the field.

Each day will commence at 8 p.m. and the cost for both days is $45 per person.

Sheridan College astronomy instructor Ray Oltion will guide attendees in identifying constellations, planets, clusters, nebulae and galaxies that are visible in the March sky.

Friday night’s session will be held at the Mohn’s Science Center at SC.

Saturday’s session will be in the field, most likely at the snowmobiler’s parking area at the foot of Red Grade Road in Big Horn.
