WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — Visitor services will continue while the Bighorn National Forest’s Tongue Ranger District office in Sheridan undergoes renovations.
The public entrance to the building will be relocated while the reception area receives fresh paint and new carpet. The relocated entrance will be off the parking lot on the east side of the building.
Dates for relocation of the public entrance will be March 28 and March 31 or April 4 and April 7, depending on renovation progress. Signs on the front door will direct people to the temporary entrance.
The renovations are being provided by the building owner.
“We’ll continue to provide visitor information services, maps and forest product permits,” District Ranger Clarke McClung said.
Forest information and services such as map sales and forest product permits are also available online at www.fs.usda.gov/bighorn.
The ranger district is located at 2013 Eastside 2nd Street in Sheridan. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
