Caelan Christopher Brackeen, 17, formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in Colorado Springs, CO. Caelan was born on April 18, 1995 in Sheridan, WY to his parents Vera Lavon Harnish and Christopher Lee Brackeen. He really liked tubing and boating with his family, camping, making people laugh, pulling pranks on family and friends. He adored his nieces and nephews. He spent a lot of time playing X Box and meeting new friends, he enjoyed traveling to London, Florida and the Bahamas. He worked at the Country Kitchen in Sheridan and then moved back to Colorado Springs to work at the Gardens of Hilton and had decided to major in Paleontology and minor in Culinary Arts. Caelan was a very loving and kind young man and would do anything for anyone. Our hearts are forever broken and we love you always! Caelan was preceded in death by his grandparents and his Aunt Kristina. He is survived by his parents, Lavon (Bernie) Harnish of Sheridan, WY, Christopher Brackeen of Colorado Springs, CO, his siblings, Candice Barbero of Sheridan, WY, Jessica Heide of Sheridan, WY, Ashlee (Todd) Hoffmann of Phoenix, AZ, Brandon (Mallory Siewell) Harnish of Sheridan, WY and Cameron Harnish of Sheridan, WY. His grandparents Bernard and Alice Harnish of Sheridan, WY, Aunt Shirley and Uncle Bill Kimmel of Sheridan, WY, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life has been held at the Bethesda Worship Center in Sheridan Wyoming. Donations to help with funeral expenses can be sent to Lavon Harnish, P.O. Box 6647, Sheridan, WY 82801.
