Lady Broncs fall to Gillette at regionals

SHERIDAN — Sheridan High School Lady Broncs will head to state basketball in Casper this weekend as the No. 2 in the East after they played in the regional championship game Saturday, falling short against Gillette 56-65.

The Lady Broncs faced the Camels in the championship match in Cheyenne. Individual stats from the game were not available at press time this morning.

The Lady Broncs will play Riverton on Thursday at 9 a.m. at the Casper College. They have matched up to the Lady Wolverines twice, both times winning. The first game they won by 30 points, and the second game they won by 16 points.
