SHERIDAN — The Sheridan High School Jazz Band will perform their Festival Concert on Tuesday.
The band will be playing songs which they will be performing at the Kinser Jazz Festival in Casper and the Northwest Jazz Festival in Powell later this year.
The performance will commence at 7 p.m. at the Sue Henry Auditorium of SHS.
The concert is free and open to the public.
Performances will include pieces such as “Solar and Nardis” by Miles Davis and “I’m Beginning to See the Light” by Duke Ellington, and will be directed by Diane Knutson.
Lead trombone player Grandy Craft has been selected to play in the All-State Jazz Band and will be featured on a solo arrangement at the concert.
