SHERIDAN — March 5 is the deadline to apply to be a Senate page for U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyo, for one of the two summer sessions in Washington, D.C.
Page duties consist primarily of delivering correspondence and legislative material at the Capitol. Other duties include preparing the Senate chamber for sessions and carrying bills and amendments to the appropriate people on the Senate floor.
Applicants must have completed their sophomore year of high school, be ages 16 or 17 on or before the date of appointment and have a grade point average of at least 3.0.
Pages live in Webster Hall and receive a stipend to cover the cost of residence as well as breakfast and dinner daily.
The summer sessions run from June 9 through June 27 and July 7 through Aug. 1.
