SHERIDAN — Casting for Recovery, a two and a half day free retreat awarded to 14 women of Wyoming who are breast cancer survivors, will be held July 25-27.
The fourth annual event includes fly-fishing instruction, breast cancer information and other tools for healing and socializing, including a psycho-social therapist, a health care professional and river helpers.
The services are provided at no cost to the participants thanks to donations from individuals and businesses as well as grants from the Wyoming Community Foundation, Wyoming Affiliate of Susan G. Komen and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole.
The organization is currently seeking residents to apply for the 2014 retreat, which will be held in Dubois at the Absaroka Ranch.
