SHERIDAN — The University of Wyoming Extension will offer hands-on exercises to help practice risk management and strategies for managing market risk as part of a master marketer workshop in Sheridan.
On Thursday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wyatt Regional Agriculture Building at Sheridan College, five categories of instruction will be presented including understanding basis and its signals, overview of traditional marketing tools, insurance policies for risk management, livestock market risk control options and crop market risk control options.
Presenters will include Montana State University marketing specialist Duane Griffith, UWE marketing specialist Bridger Feuz and Hewlett.
The cost to attend is $15 and includes handout materials and lunch.
Advanced registration is required.
