SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office is hoping to get help identifying a woman caught on video carrying out an act of property destruction in the side parking lot of the Sheridan County Court house. The incident in question occurred during the daylight hours of Jan. 10.
The subject appears to be a young white female dressed in black pants and dark red or purple jacket. She has long hair pulled up into a ponytail.
In a video released to The Sheridan Press by the SCSO, the subject is seen approaching the parking lot on foot via West Tschirgi Street. The subject crosses West Burkitt Street, enters the parking lot and approaches the target vehicle. After completing the job, the suspect leaves the way she came. Deputy Mike Hamilton declined to release the nature of vandalism that occurred, and the criminal act itself is edited out of the released video.
Anyone with information related to the female’s identity is requested to contact SCSO at 672-3455.
