SHS takes ‘We the People’ state championship

Sheridan High School American government teacher Tyson Emborg emphasizes a point on human rights issues during a discussion session with members of the school’s “We the People” team Saturday morning at Java Moon. The group traveled to Cheyenne for a competition Monday and won the state championship. Emborg said the 23 students will now travel to Washington, D.C., in April for the national competition that focuses on knowledge of the U.S. Constitution.
