Cowgirls bounce back with win over Boise St.

From Wyoming Athletics

LARAMIE —  The Wyoming Cowgirl basketball team rebounded with a 55-48 win over the Boise State Broncos on Saturday afternoon in Laramie.

Kaitlyn Mileto finished with 18 points. Marquelle Dent recorded 12 points while Fallon Lewis and Kayla Woodward each chipped in nine.

Lewis led the way with 11 rebounds.

The Cowgirls were 18-54 (.333) from the field and 15-26 (.577) from the free throw line.
The Cowgirls are now 11-3 overall on the season and 2-1 in conference action, while the Broncos are 6-8 overall and 1-2 in MW play.

“Jasmine Davis and Kaylee Hoffman gave us a lift in the first half when we had some people get into some foul trouble. That was important to hang onto the lead with two starters on the bench.”

The Cowgirls have a week off before heading to San Jose State on Saturday.
