SHERIDAN — The 27th Annual Polar Bear Plunge will be held Wednesday at Lake DeSmet.
Join the jump or just watch in warmth at 1 p.m. as residents plunge in to the frozen water to start the new year.
There is no cost to participate and everyone is welcome.
A warm change of clothes for afterward is recommended.

The meeting point for the event will be the south boat ramp at Lake DeSmet off exit 51 of Interstate 90.
