SHERIDAN — The American Red Cross of Wyoming will celebrate local hometown heroes by nominating a person who has made the extra effort, taken the extra step or gone the distance to improve the lives of others. Any resident of Campbell, Crook, Weston, Johnson or Sheridan County can be nominated.
Nomination categories are for heroes in emergency services, business, education, inspiration, workplace safety, unsung, military, animal rescue, youth and volunteer.
Finalists will be selected from all nominees for local recognition.
Selection will be by a committee of individuals from the community, including former hometown hero recipients.
Hometown heroes will be recognized at a hometown heroes breakfast on June 20 at 7 a.m. at the Best Western Tower West in Gillette.

Submit completed forms via mail to American Red Cross, 439 Prairie View Dr., Suite E, Gillette, WY 82716.

Nominations must be received by April 29.
