County museum looking for full-time director

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Museum is once again seeking a full-time director. The position was initially filled in late October, but the hired candidate, Ben Hruska, backed out of the job after approximately three weeks.

Collection Manager Kirsten Arnold said the hunt for a permanent director will begin in the spring, and in the mean time, Sara Ligocki will again pick up the reigns as interim director.

“Everything is running smoothly,” Arnold said, indicating the museum’s team is working on new exhibits for the 2014 season. “It’s business as usual at the museum.”
