Boley hosting event on child hunger and obesity

SHERIDAN — The Wellness Council of Sheridan County and The Food Group are co-sponsoring a presentation by registered dietician Georgia Boley on how children can be both hungry and overweight simultaneously.

Members of the community are invited to understand the effects of hunger and obesity on children and identify ways they can help address the problems.

Boley will also discuss with students how hunger can strike any household and ways they can take action in their school and community to feed hungry children and families.

The discussion will take place Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m. at the Sheridan College Science Center room 104.
