SHERIDAN — The Sheridan-Johnson County chapter of the Wyoming Archaeological Society will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sheridan Holiday Inn Le Gourmet Room, 1809 Sugarland Drive.
The program is free and ordering dinner from the menu is available but not required for attendance.
Following dinner, around 7:15 p.m., archaeologist Kristin Hare will make a presentation examining recent site-work conducted at Yellowstone Lake.
The university studied several sites along Clear Creek revealing information about its active use in prehistory.
Hare is a graduate student of anthropology at the University of Montana in Missoula and works as a Cultural Resource Technician at SWCA Environmental Consultants in Sheridan.
