SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College women’s basketball team lost its second game in a row Tuesday night in Torrington.
Tiana Hanson scored 15 points and had 13 rebounds and Sierra Toms chipped in 13 as the Lady Generals fell 64-57 at Eastern Wyoming College.
Courtney Dollison scored 19 and had six rebounds for EWC, who led 29-27 at the break. The Lady Generals out rebounded EWC 53 to 38, but shot (19/58) 32 percent from the field to EWC’s 37 percent (27/73). Sheridan (4-2) turned the ball over 23 times while EWC had just 10 turnovers.
The game had five lead changes and six ties.
Sheridan College women’s and men’s basketball teams play at home this weekend with game times at 5 and 7 p.m. respectively, both Friday and Saturday.
