SHERIDAN — The Montana Highway Patrol responded to a traffic accident near the Spring Creek Coal Mine at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
The crash involved a car and a semi truck.
A communications supervisor with the MHP said the incident occurred near mile marker eight on Highway 314, also called Decker Road.
The aftermath of the crash left the semi truck tipped on its side and the car totaled.
One individual was trapped inside the car and was extricated, and all victims involved in the collision were transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital via Rocky Mountain Ambulance.
Officials were unable to confirm further details regarding the incident as of press time.
