Sheridan County All-State/All-Conference volleyball

SHERIDAN — The Wyoming Coaches Association released its All-State and All-Conference volleyball lists Tuesday afternoon.

The WCA and member volleyball coaches select All-State athletes from All-Conference lists, and 2A state runner-up Big Horn had two 2013 All-State selections in Hanneah Puckett and McKinzie Taylor.

Kortni Sharp was selected from Tongue River. The Lady Eagles qualified for state, finishing 12-18 this year.

In order to be selected as an All-State, the athlete must first be selected All-Conference.

There are 14 All-Conference selections out of each of the four conferences that make up 2A, selected by the coaches and athletic directors of each conference.

Out of Sheridan County, 2013 2A Northeast All-Conference selections were Kayla Crouse and Shelby Mann of Big Horn and Tara Stimpson from Tongue River. Northeast conference player of the year was Shauna Rasmussen of Wright.

The only 4A selection was Sheridan sophomore Robbi Ryan. They did not have an All-State spiker.

The Lady Broncs failed to qualify for state in 2013.
