SHERIDAN — The Sheridan-Johnson County chapter of the Wyoming Archaeological Society will host a free presentation on the Crazy Horse petroglyph on Thursday evening.
The meeting will take place at the Sheridan Holiday Inn Le Gourmet room at 6 p.m.
Dinner will be ordered from the menu; however, it is not necessary to order dinner to attend the free program.
Following dinner, around 7:15 p.m., Sheridan resident Scott Burgan will present the discovery and history of the Crazy Horse petroglyph and its relevance to historians and archaeologists today.
Burgan, the president of the SJC chapter, attended Amarillo College and has a background in photographic studies.
Reservations are not necessary and the event is open to the public.
The Holiday Inn is located at 1809 Sugarland Dr.
