SHERIDAN — The Sheridan Police Department reports 55 pounds of prescription drugs were surrendered at their drug take-back station over the weekend.
Police set up a location on Coffeen Avenue to encourage citizens to drop off their unused and unneeded medications.
The drugs taken into custody are responsibly disposed, and the possibility of the medications being stolen and subsequently abused is greatly reduced.
