WEATHER FROM OUR SPONSORS
SHERIDAN — U.S. Sen. Mike Enzi, R-Wyoming, is encouraging college students and graduates to apply for a spring internship in his Washington, D.C., office.
The deadline for applications is Nov. 14 and the internship will run from Jan. 6, 2014, to May 23, 2014.
The internship offers experience in the direct operations of our nation’s government.
Typical intern duties include administrative and clerical tasks, conducting research for legislative aides and giving Wyoming constituents Capitol tours.
Interns also have the opportunity to attend committee hearings and lectures and observe floor proceedings.
Enzi provides a monthly stipend of $1,600 for his interns.
Individuals interested in an internship should apply online at www.enzi.senate.gov under the “Students” tab.
Priority will be given to students and graduates of Wyoming who have achieved at least a sophomore status at an accredited university or college.
For additional information contact Enzi’s Internship Coordinator, Sarah Meier, at 202-224-3424.
