SHERIDAN — Children, Horses and Adults in PartnerShip will have a fundraising “Zombie Walk/Run for Your Life” Nov. 2.
The event will start on Grinnell Plaza and follow a route through downtown Sheridan along which participants must dodge zombie obstacles. The route finishes back at Grinnell Plaza.
Awards will be given for the zombie securing the most lives, the best zombie and the first female and male runners back with at least one life.
The entry booth opens at 11 a.m. and the run begins at 2 p.m.
After the event, join in the “Nightmare on Grinnell Street” party and awards presentation from 3-6 p.m.
You can join as a walker, runner or zombie. The entry cost is $30.

Participants must be 12 or older.
There is no charge to watch the race or attend the party, but donations to CHAPS will be appreciated.

This event was originally scheduled for Oct. 5 and was postponed due to weather.
All runners, walkers and zombies who had registered for the October event are automatically registered to participate Nov. 2.
