SHERIDAN — The WYO Theater is presenting “Cabaret” Oct. 24-27.
Performances are Oct. 24-26 at 7:30 p.m. each evening and Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.
The Tony Award-winning musical is set in 1930s Berlin. An English nightclub singer, an American writer, a German landlady and a Jewish shopkeeper find their destinies linked and their futures uncertain as the rise of the Nazi party casts a shadow over Germany during the waning days of the Weimar Republic. Presiding over the action is the emcee who acts as master of ceremonies. He bids you to “leave your troubles outside” and step into the deliciously decadent world of “Cabaret.”
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. They can be purchased by calling 672-9084, at the WYO Theater at 42 N. Main St. or online at www.wyotheater.com.
