“The Nose,” an opera by Shostakovich, will be shown at 6 p.m. Oct. 30.
William Kentridge’s production of Shostakovich’s opera dazzled opera and art lovers alike in its inaugural run in 2010.
Paulo Szot portrays a bureaucrat whose satirical misadventures in search of his missing nose are based on Gogol’s comic story.
Valery Gergiev conducts.
