BIG HORN — The Big Horn Lady Rams fell to Wright Tuesday night in a makeup game from Friday, Oct. 4.

The Lady Rams lost in four games. Winning the second set, they were unable to defeat the top-ranked 2A Northeast squad Wright.

Despite the 3-1 loss, head coach Leigh McLaughlin said she was pleased with the way her squad played.

“We played well but struggled to keep the momentum on our side consistently,” she said. “We did some really great things last night. This was the best that we have played against Wright all season. We need to fix a few inconsistencies, but we have a lot to build on to help us push through the rest of the season.”

Wright (7-0, 24-5) is one of the top teams in 2A, and is the only team ahead of the Lady Rams (4-2, 17-9) in the 2A Northeast standings.

This week is homecoming week at Big Horn. The volleyball team will play Tongue River (3-3, 9-14) in Dayton Thursday night. Game times are at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.

The football team (5-1), ranked No. 2, will host Moorcroft (0-6) Friday at 1 p.m.
Big Horn volleyball will host Sundance Saturday, closing its regular season.
