‘Dig Pink’ event set for Thursday at SC final home volleyball game

SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College volleyball team earned a quick, three-set win over Laramie County Community College Monday at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.

Power outages over the weekend pushed back the contest, and the Lady Generals earned the win 25-17, 25-18, 25-15. The team moved to 16-10 overall and 3-3 in North Sub-Region IX play.

They play their final home game Thursday at 7 p.m., against Casper College (5-1 Region IX). The event will feature the annual “Pack the Place in Pink” Dig Pink fundraiser to support the fight against breast cancer. T-shirts will be sold for $15 and donations will be accepted at the door.

Contact SC head coach Jennifer Stadler (jweitzel@sheridan.edu or 307 674-6446 ext. 4002) for more information or T-shirts.

Stat leaders against LCCC: Britney Titensor 13 kills, 14 digs; Jill Espeland 15 digs, 2 aces; Jenna Jordan 22 assists.
