Lady Eagles top Sundance in reschedule from Friday

SHERIDAN — The Lady Eagles volleyball team beat Sundance Monday in a rescheduled game from Friday.

Tongue River won the 2A Northeast conference game despite dropping the first set 21-25, coming back 25-22, 25-22 and 25-9. Tara Stimpson had five kills, five stuff blocks and was 15 of 17 on serves. Eryn Aksamit had six kills, six aces and was 17 of 17 on serves. Allison Reed had four kills, four aces and was 17 of 17 on serves along with 14 assists. Amanda Buller had eight kills.

The Lady Eagles play Wright at home Friday at 4, 5, and 6 p.m., and then Moorcroft on Saturday at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Both games are at TRHS in Dayton.
