SHERIDAN — University of Wyoming’s Wyoming Technology Business Center will hold its next “e2e” presentation Oct. 22 from 5:30-7 p.m. at The Black Tooth Brewing Company.
The presenter will be Don Collins, CEO of Western Research Institute in Laramie, who has 25 years experience in engineering and management of research, design and construction of new technologies. WRI is a multi-million dollar, not-for-profit research organization specializing in advanced energy systems, environmental technologies and highway materials research.
Collins is focused on transitioning science to commercialization of clean energy technologies and lower cost methods for building highways, including zero-emission coal power plants and bioasphalt highways. Collin will discuss two major research and development projects on which WRI and private companies in the coal industry are currently working.
