SHERIDAN — Misty Bateman will have an exhibit of her photography at the Martinsen Gallery at Sheridan College from Oct. 15 through Nov. 26.
“For Love of Photography; from Analog to Instagram and Place in Between” encompasses a wide spectrum of photography.
Bateman is a Sheridan native and received a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and history from the University of Wyoming.
She received her Master of Arts in education from Willamette University in Oregon and studied photography in the Associate of Applied Science program at Mt. Hood Community College.
Bateman currently works at Sheridan College.
An artist’s reception will be held Oct. 15 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Martinsen Gallery. It is free and open to the public.
The gallery is next to the president’s office in the Whitney Academic Center and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
