SHERIDAN — Continuing a successful spring, Sheridan High School grad Cameron Lindell placed third at the Hal Sutton Intercollegiate golf tournament in late March.
Lindell’s 77-72—149 (+5) helped Tyler Junior College to a second place finish in the March 25-26 tournament held in Bossier City, Louis.
Carrying momentum from a tournament win at the NJCAA District 2 Preview the weekend before, at the Hal Sutton, Lindell was the top scorer on Par 3s in, shooting a -1 on the weekend, and he was third best in scoring on Par 4s (+4).
He led the field with 27 pars.
Lindell’s second round 72 was the low round for the final day of the tournament as he finished four strokes behind the winner.
