SHERIDAN — Children, Horses and Adults in PartnerShip will have a fundraising “Zombie Walk/Run for Your Life” Saturday.
The event will start on Grinnell Plaza and follow a route through downtown Sheridan along which participants must dodge zombie obstacles. The route finishes back at Grinnell Plaza.
Awards will be given for the zombie securing the most lives, the best zombie, and the first female and male runners back with at least one life.
The entry booth opens at 11 a.m. Beer gardens and burgers will be offered starting at 1 p.m. and the run begins at 2 p.m.
After the event, join in the “Nightmare on Grinnell Street” party and awards presentation from 3-6 p.m.
You can join as a walker or runner or as a zombie. The entry cost is $30.

Participants must be 12 or older.
There is no charge to watch the race or attend the party, but donations to CHAPS will be appreciated.
