SHERIDAN — Sheridan County Fulmer Public Library will host “Eat Your Words” Oct. 7 from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Inner Circle at the library.
This event ties in with the “Key Ingredients: America by Food” exhibit that will be displayed on the mezzanine starting in November.
From 6-6:45 p.m. there will be an edible book contest. Participants will create a food item that represents books or literature, whether in general or relative to specific works.
From 7-8:30 p.m., Chrysti Smith, popularly known as Chrysti the Wordsmith, will give a talk titled “Eat Your Words.” Smith is from Poplar, Mont., and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in sociology/anthropology from Montana State University-Bozeman. Smith is a professional narrator with credits in television, documentary films, slide presentations and public service announcements and radio ads.
