DAYTON — Tongue River Valley Community Center is hosting an evening with endurance athlete Jennifer Pharr Davis.
Davis was the 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year. She has trekked more than 12,000 miles on six continents and holds the endurance record for the Appalachian Trail, having completed the 2,181-mile trail in 46 days at an average of 47 miles per day.
Davis’ talk will focus on the Appalachian Trail and its availability to everyone at every phase of life.
The event is at the TRVCC Dayton Center Oct. 7 at 6:30 p.m. This is free and open to the public.
