COMBAT color fun run Oct. 6

SHERIDAN — Sheridan College Veterans Club will host a COMBAT Color Fun Run at Sheridan College Oct. 6 starting at 1 p.m.

COMBAT color is an untimed three-mile fun run or a 1.25-mile walk combined with a game of color tag.

“Our first COMBAT Color run in May was such a hit, and we raised over $7,000 for the Wounded Warrior Project,” Veteran Services Director Brett Burtis said in a press release.

The event will start at the SC Veterans Plaza in parking lot A. Participants are requested to park in lots E and F.

Wear a plain white T-shirt and some element of camouflage.

No pets are allowed at the event.

Registration is $30 for adults and $10 for children 10 and under.

Registration and payment can be made online at www.sheridan.edu/combatcolor. Registration is also available the day of the event.

Registration includes an event T-shirt, a package of powdered color and a free drink.

The run is organized by the Sheridan College Veterans Club and all proceeds from the event will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

For more information about the fun run contact the SC Veterans Club at scvets@sheridan.edu or call Burtis at 674-9664, ext. 2720.
