SHERIDAN — The American Legion’s Wyoming Department won high marks at the recent annual National Convention of The American Legion held at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas, Aug. 23-29. A number of Wyoming legionnaires and members of the Women’s Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion attended.
At the Aug. 28 assembly session, Wyoming’s Immediate Past Department Commander Keith Davidson of Sheridan was presented with a plaque for fulfilling an essential function required by The American Legion’s national office that makes its administrative oversight of the Departments’ operations and affairs possible.
The Wyoming’s Legion Department was also recognized for its success in raising donation money for causes supported by The American Legion’s national office.
