SHERIDAN — Jack Roberts had the top score for Big Horn as the Rams finished third in Wright Saturday.
Tongue River finished fourth with their injury depleted squad, but still cut 12 strokes off their Friday score.
The Lady Rams did not record a team score, but Jamie Kitterman and Madi Pehringer finished sixth and 10th respectively.
“I was much happier with our performance on day two of the tournament,” TR head coach Pete Kilbride said. “After a tough first day, we talked about the need to be focused and concentrate on each shot. We made some mental mistakes on day one, and Saturday was much better.”
The Eagles Wyatt Schumacher cut 14 strokes off his first-day score to finish tied for eighth with Rams Nick McAdoo and Brody Bard.
Roberts shot 89-91—180 as the Rams finished behind Sundance and tournament winner Wright.
The Lady Eagles biggest improvement, Kilbride said, was Kylee Knobloch who cut 23 strokes from day one to day two, shooting a 123. The Eagles Riley Jones dropped 17 strokes Saturday.
