Better diet instead

Re: Fluoridation issue

There is concern that the children in Sheridan have bad teeth. Perhaps instead of fluoridating the water that all of us drink, how about advising the parents of these children to limit their soda pop, sugar and junk food from their diets.

It would cost the taxpayer no extra money and free our drinking water from unnecessary contamination from fluoride, a bi-product of industrial waste. For those who don’t want fluoridation, it is very difficult to filter this substance out. For only minimal cost, the parents could give their children a pharmaceutical grade of fluoride for their teeth.

Please don’t fluoridate Sheridan’s delicious water.
