SHERIDAN — Powder River Basin Resource Council invites the public to the eighth annual Harvest Celebration and final farmers market Sept. 14 at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds exhibit hall.
The farmers market will begin at 4 p.m. In addition to food and crafts there will be music and events for kids.
The Harvest Celebration dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. and features local meats and vegetables and desserts prepared by the members of Powder River Basin Resource Council.
Dinner is $13 per plate. Students with an ID and children under 12 are $8.
At 6:15 p.m. there will be a “Pies by Guys” auction and a raffle to win half a hog, a basket of local vegetables and organic-fed chickens.
Raffle tickets are $5 each or six for $25. They can be purchased at the event or at the PRBRC office at 934 N. Main St.
Events end at 7:30 p.m.
All proceeds from the Heritage Celebration portion of the event will benefit the Powder River Basin Resource Council.
