Bronc golfers fourth in Worland after day one

SHERIDAN — Three boys players posted personal bests and the Sheridan High School tennis team is in fourth place after day one of a tournament in Worland.

Jack Mavrakis led the way with his 73, and the three Broncs shooting their best high school scores were Bailey Bonnet, 79, Alex Williams, 85 and Logan Johnson, 92. Sheridan (329) will look to make up ground today on tournament leader Riverton (309). Lander was second Thursday (315) and Gillette (327) was third.

For the Sheridan girls, one player short of a team score, Victoria Owings is tied for fourth place after her 90 Thursday and Kayla Allen is in 12th after her 108.

The final round of the tournament got underway this morning.
