SHERIDAN — A suicide intervention workshop will be offered Sept. 9-10 in Sheridan.
The Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training is designed to provide guidance and resources for those working with at-risk people.
The workshop will cover such topics as how to identify an at-risk person, how to discuss suicide with an at-risk person and identifying resources available to help an at-risk person.
ASIST is being offered at no cost to participants.
The cost of all materials is being covered by the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming and the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention.
The two-day workshop will be held at the Wyoming Girls’ School.
