McColley, Holt engaged to marry

SHERIDAN — Joseph McColley of Sheridan and Laura Holt of Omaha, Neb. are engaged to marry Sept. 14 in Omaha.
McColley is a 2003 graduate of Newcastle High School. He earned two associate of science degrees from Casper College in 2005.
He then finished his pre-requirements at the University of Wyoming in 2007 before receiving his doctorate in dental surgery at Creighton University in 2011. Following graduation he completed a general practice residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
McColley works at Mohatt and McColley Family Dentistry in Sheridan.
He is the son of Rick and Ann McColley of Newcastle and the grandson of Don and Jean McColley of Rapid City, S.D.
Holt is a 2004 graduate of Marian High School. She obtained an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene from Iowa Western in 2009 and a bachelor’s in dental hygiene from Creighton University in 2010.
She currently works at a private practice dental office in Omaha and part time as a clinical instructor at Creighton University School of Dentistry.
Holt is the daughter of Dan and Claudia Holt of Omaha, Neb.
The couple met at Creighton University and plan to be married at St. John’s Catholic Church on the Creighton University campus.
After the wedding McColley and Holt will live in Sheridan and work together in private practice at Mohatt and McColley Family Dentistry.
