SHERIDAN — The Sheridan College volleyball team has announced the addition of a Montana native to its 2013 roster.
Cori Krook of Roberts, Mont., will join the Sheridan College spikers after 4B All-Conference honors her senior year as an outside hitter.
“I look forward to having Cori join our volleyball program,” head coach Jenifer Weitzel stated in a press release. “She really impressed us when she came up for camp and I think she has potential to become a strong player in the college game.”
Krook led her team in kills last season.
“She jumps well, moves well, and has a sound technical skill base that really stands out,” SC assistant coach Austin Albers added. “But the thing that really impressed me most was her coachability and attention to detail. I expect her to really improve quickly in her new role as a defensive specialist.”
Krook also plays basketball and runs track and field. She holds a 3.98 GPA, planning to pursue a dental hygiene degree at SC.
