Your endurance and strength

Every week I am meeting people who need to be encouraged. Whether you’re rich or poor, married or single, in good health or in poor health, we all need to understand that the love of God can carry us through the hard times to victory. So read for yourself what God’s word has to say.
When the Lord is your strength, who is there to be afraid of? Seek the Lord and His strength and seek His face continually and He will be your strength and power and help you in all your days. Remember that the Lord is our rock, He is our fortress, our deliverer, and it is in His strength we can trust. It is the Lord who gives to us assurance and strength, and the joy of knowing and walking with the Lord can become your strength.
Therefore when you endure hard days and afflictions as a good soldier of Jesus Christ, remember that after you have patiently endured in your faith, you will inherit all the promises of God. Remember the times past and how God has been faithful to protect and preserve you through the situations you thought were insurmountable.
Look to Jesus as the author and finisher of your faith; that is His gift to you. Remember it was Him who, for the joy of what was to come after the cross, endured the cross. He stood silent despising the shame put upon Him because He loved you and me and knew that one day we could be with Him in heaven forever.
So continue on in prayer, and in the faith, and in love and holiness with sobriety, knowing that it is through much tribulation that we enter into the kingdom of God. Continue on in the love of Jesus, and the grace of God, and don’t forget to continue to feed daily on His word. Remember the joy and happiness when you first received Christ as your Lord and Savior? You were made a new creation then, clean and forgiven of all your past sins. But your enemy, the devil, comes to steal away your joy and freedom. But he is already a defeated foe because of what Christ did for you. Therefore, stand tall and be rooted in the victory that is already yours.
The Lord will give strength to His people, yes strength and power, enabling them to go from strength to strength. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and in the grace that is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Know that it is according to His glorious power that you are able to do all things through Christ who strengthens you, because greater is He that is in you than he who is in the world.
Persecutions and afflictions will come, but endure them, for the Lord will deliver you out of them all. With God’s love you can bear all things, believe all things, hope all things and endure all things knowing that after you have endured temptation, and when you are tired and feel like quitting, remember you shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love Him. This truly does bring joy in the middle of sorrow.
Be strong and very courageous, fear not for the Lord your God is with you; and He will not fail you nor forsake you. Know for a positive fact that those who wait upon the Lord shall have their strength renewed and they will mount up with wings like the Eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not be faint for He will make their feet like His feet, and He will make them walk upon the high places.
The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong on behalf of them whose heart is trusting in Him. So let the weak say, I am strong, for whoever believes God’s Word and trusts in His Son is strong and more than a conqueror. Fear not, for God is with you. Don’t be discouraged for God will strengthen you and help you, yes He will uphold you with the right hand of His righteousness. Just wait on the Lord and be of good courage and He will strengthen your heart all of you that hope in the Lord.
When you are weak in your flesh, then you can be strong in the Lord, and He will then be your strength in the time of your troubles. Remember that glory and honor are in His presence and strength and gladness are in Him.
May God Bless you and give you peace.
