SHERIDAN — The Sheridan High School golf team wrapped up its spring season Tuesday at the EWAC Championships in Cheyenne. The Broncs finished third as a team while the Lady Broncs took fourth.
Sheridan’s Kirby Coe-Kirkham bested the field both days to claim the individual boys crown. He shot a 70 (even) during round one Monday and closed the tournament Tuesday with a 72 for a final tournament tally of 142 — two shots clear of the field. Coe-Kirkham was named to the 4A East All-Conference team. Brayden James carded a 170, and Noah Erickson recorded a 171 to place 14th and 15, respectively.
Abby James led the Lady Broncs with a third-place finish, boasting a score of 186 and teammate Hannah Detmer finished fifth with a 196 — both were named All-Conference. Thunder Basin’s Maria Farnum won the girls tournament with a 166.
The Lady Bolts took the team title with a 545, while Cheyenne East won the boys title with a 600.
