SHERIDAN — The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Workforce Development Committee is offering supervisors’ training to help businesses establish policies for maintaining a drug-free workplace and identifying substance use and abuse in the workplace.

This free training is a great way to see how a drug-free workplace policy could benefit your organization.

The training also qualifies for the mandatory two-hour drug-free workplace discount with Workers’ Compensation.

The instructors will be Scott Brastrup of the Sheridan Police Department, Russ Gardner of Vagtmand Services and Stacia Skretteberg of PeAk Consulting and Sugarland Enterprises. Two identical workshops will be available April 2 at the Sheridan College CTEL presentation hall.

One workshop will be from 8-10 a.m. and the second workshop will be offered from 5-7 p.m.
Advance registration is required.

For more information or to register call the Chamber at 672-2485.
